History in the making
In 1941, The Sisters of the Little Company of Mary acquired Berklea Hospital in South Caulfield – offering maternity and surgical services. In 1942 it became known as Bethlehem hospital. By 1964, the new Bethlehem Public Hospital was completed. Now, the Calvary tradition of quality support, wellness and care has come into its own with our new precinct that is dedicated to retirees.
